Eggy Bread

This is a quick and easy breakfast or snack recipe that’s filling and tasty. On the Slimming World diet plan this recipe will cost you either 1 of your Healthy Extra B’s (HEB) or 6 Syns.

It takes about 15minutes to make.

Ingredients:

  • 2 Small slices wholemeal bread (HEB)
  • 1 Egg
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fry Light

Instructions:

  1. Beat the egg, garlic powder and a pinch of salt and pepper to taste.
  2. Before you turn on the heat to your pan pour the egg in and place your 2 slices of bread on top to soak up most of the egg.
  3. Then turn the bread over to soak up the rest.
  4. Once the egg has soaked into the bread, turn your hob onto a medium / low heat.
  5. Fry the bread for 5 minutes on both sides until golden brown, then serve.
