
A great recipe for those trying to eat more healthily. On the Slimming World diet plan this will cost you one of your Healthy Extra B’s (HEB) and a Health Extra A (HEA).
This recipe is just for a plain cheese calzone but feel free to fill it with whatever diet friendly fillings you like. Ham, peppers, sweet corn, onions, mushrooms, whatever you fancy.
Ingredients
- Tortilla Wrap (1 HEB)
- 30g Grated Cheese (1 HEA)
- 1tbsp Tomato Purée
- 1/2tsp Garlic powder
- 1/2tsp Italian herbs (optional)
- Pinch Salt & Pepper
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 180 degrees and place some baking paper onto an oven tray.
- In a small bowl mix together your tomato purée with 3 tablespoons of water and stir in the garlic powder, Italian herbs, salt and pepper until combined.
- Heat your wrap in the microwave for 10-15 seconds until it’s soft (this will stop it cracking as you fold it) *Tip if your wrap is a little dry, brush it with a light coating of water before you microwave it.
- Spoon your tomato purée onto the wrap making sure the outer edge has a light coating of the sauce so it sticks together well when folded.
- Place your cheese and whatever toppings you like in the centre of the wrap.
- Gently fold the wrap in half and squash the edges together tightly with a fork.
- Lightly brush the top with a little water to stop it from burning.
- Place on your baking tray and cook for 10-15minutes.

Then serve, it goes great with salad and diet friendly home made chips. Enjoy!
